Capt Al posted in the group NY Fluke & Seabass
The Fluke bite was off from yesterday with only a few keepers boated but Ling catches remain good each day. We’ve been drifting the reefs and rock piles with clams, squid and spearing in hopes of catching everything possible. Some Seabass mixed in but they haven’t been a problem the past few days, the water must’ve gotten a little colder on the bottom. We also caught a handful of whiting again today.
We are sailing every day from 7am till 4pm and there’s still lots of openings for this Sunday, Father’s Day. Seabass season is scheduled to begin next Sunday, June 23. Text me at (516) 361-9275 for reservations for any trip.
