1 year, 4 months ago☘️🦇🐟It’s Cownose Ray season! This time of year we see an abundance of these guys tearing up the bay looking for clams and oysters! The Cownose Ray (Rhinoptera bonasus) is a species of Batoidea. This means it’s a Cartilaginous fish species known as Rays. Cartilaginous fish have skeletons that are mostly made up of cartilage similar to sharks.
They are drag burners and give our anglers a great fight before being released with a free meal!
💯William, our resident Stingray specialist is always up to the task of catch and release.
We’ve caught a few this morning!
