Good action on both boats last night going again tonight. The local fished in the bay and caught Fluke until dark then got into a bite of jumbo Porgies. Expect more of the same tonight. Express saw good sea bass fishing offshore
THE 8AM, 2PM & 6PM TRIPS WILL ALL BE FISHING IN THE CALM SHELTERED WATERS OF THE GREAT SOUTH BAY THROUGH AT LEAST WEDNESDAY. Today’s 2PM trip in the bay saw a mix of Fluke, Sea Bass, Porgies, Blowfish, Bluefish and Sea Robins. These are great trips for kids before they go back to school. Captree.com for tickets

The Laura Lee Fleet is owned and operated by Captain Joe DeVito. Living on the south shore of Long Island, Captain Joe grew up on the Laura Lee Fleet fishing the Great South Bay and surrounding Ocean waters. The Laura Lee Fleet has been fishing the waters of Great South Bay and Fire Island since 1974. The Laura Lee Fleet started with the Lady Ann and Casey Lee, then the Laura Lee and then adding the new fast Laura Lee Express. Both boats are Coast Guard Inspected and approved with the latest safety, navigation and fish finding equipment. Although both boats have individual rod holders for 94 fisherman; we limit the trips depending on the type of fishing to between 18 and 49 fishermen.
