FISHING REPORT: Clements Fishing Barge (Genoa, Wisconsin)6/3

5th Annual Bulldog Football Fishing trip to Clements Fishing Barge is in the books. This year we didn’t catch quite as many fish (high fast water) but we caught some real dandies. The boys made quick work of 64 sandwiches and a cooler of chips and snacks. 0 cell phones dropped in the river this year, which is an improvement cause the river claimed 2 of ours last year! We did have 2 hooks buried in thumbs, but Coach Anderson got them out with a pair of pliers.

Over $400 in prizes were given away to the boys (from football Fundraising card sales), and every kid went home with fishing lures as prizes, so it was a great day overall.

Thanks to Mark Clements for running such a clean, well maintained fishing float, the boys and coaches always look forward to this trip to start the summer each year.
