Fish Monger Fri 10/10 Seabass Limit for both Boats (13 & 10 man) / Triggers Porgy Blues Croakers –
The Bad news… Woke up to read 15- 20 knts east at the bouy to the north and a couple of our northern friends saying it was blowing that way. The good news there wasn’t any wind at the dock so instead of riding where we been fishing both boats stayed local rather than ride into what wouldnt b ideal conditions. Results were the same w full boxes of quality seabass!
On the Red Boat we had Ryan and a crew of savages. First stop landed right on hungry b4 the sun was even all the way up they were flying. Crushw Doubles headers n nice quality too…caught a good chunk of box in a blink then bounced around taking some cream. Few more spots along the way were loaded up good. Easy pickens early…Boxed up and 13 man then caught a couple blues porgy trigger n croakers b4 calling it an early day.
On the Green boat Capt Alex and crew had Kirt and the construction work crew aboard. Same start to the day with nice size fish flying… then picked away at some nice ones b4 it petered out to a slow pick… plenty of action n filled the box with a limit for everyone just took a little bit longer for tbr last chunk. Added blackfish trigger and some croakers as well. The guys had a good time with it and sent everyone home with a limit of tasty fillets.
Lots of quality & quanity seabass in alot of different areas. Best inshore size in a few years for sure. Unfortunately a big storm coming hopefully still b some around after it… expect the stripes soon esp after a big blow. Pics… thanks guy!
