Wed 10/22 Stripers – Lunkers on Bunkers & Shad’s for Both Boats!!!
Making lemonade!!! We (and everyone else) put on alot of miles looking for the awesome jig fishing only to find they pulled the vanishing act…. tried in some bait ng… Finally took our bait n shads n looked over some pieces till we found some readings. Capt Alex and the green boat crew was first to get a good crack on shads we followed shortly after on bunkers. Worked hard covering a bunch of spots picking away with shots of mutiple on at a time when u found some hungry ones. Both crews worked hard grinding everyone they could. Managed 45 fish between both boats mostly xxl models including some firsts & personal bests!!! Didnt come easy but better than not coming at all!
Def Not the bite we been seeing but def will take it for what was found today. Managed a few more in the the bait pods to end the day! A good sign for tomorrow!
Fall fishing gotta b ready to switch it up at anytime. Appreciate the crews sticking with and working hard to put a catch together!!! Pics…
