Captain Cole put a beat down on the blackfish today. Getting close to that triple digit keepers before November is great and is showing how strong this fall fishery is shaping up to be
The jesery boys in the front put on a clinic with easy limits and count less shorts
Many limits around the boats and other with only a few
It’s how it is every time we leave the dock
No sail tomorrow with the coastal front but keeping an eye on Tuesday
10/18
2 boats on the grounds today
Captain Cole reported a little slow day on the blackfish grounds. We had a great group of anglers who fished hard. High hooks had limits and other just had a few and shorts
Back on the grounds tomorrow at 6
Captain Frank was at the helm of the sea bass boat and reported one stop shopping. Great mix of sea bass and scup.
Still some days open for private charters for groups 6-100 call the office and Cory can make it happen
10/17
Was great to be back out on the black Fish grounds after having to be tired of the Dock with that strong winds of the last few days. Not saying that today wasn’t a very windy day, but we were able to make the best of it. High hooks had limit of nice chinners. Shorts to keep rods bent all trip long . There was always action going on with some spots better then other. Back on the grounds tomorrow and Sunday at 6am
Weather for Saturday and Sunday blackfish looks great and Monday-Wednesday look like another blow out ![]()
