This morning’s AM pool winner was Jay with a nice 5.5 lber! And check out that cool Smooth Pufferfish caught by “The Smurf”!!! He went back unharmed, but nice to see the array of fish we catch on The Bones!

So today was a very decent day on the water!! Capt Mike is THRILLED that the fish are finally in one of his trusted spots where they really haven’t been all season!!
The AM trip produced 13 beautiful keepers!! Birthday girl, Michele Gimon, got 3 keepers up to 4.5lbs, but Chris Gray used his Jedi mind tricks to tip the scale in his favor and win the pool with his single 4.6lb keeper (he didn’t even have to put any sinkers down the fluke’s throat!). Joe Costabile got a pair for dinner and others took some nice fluke meat home as well!
The PM trip didn’t produce as many keepers (with 9 total), but Chris Gray came back and grabbed the pool once again with a beautiful 7lb fatty and limited out as well!!
Special guest “Chopper”, who had mated for the World Famous Frank Mundus on the Cricket II out of Montauk, redeemed himself after a lackluster morning trip – coming back with 2 nice keepers for the cooler this afternoon!!
All-in-all a beautiful day on The Bones!!!!
