FISHING REPORT: Ocean Explorer (Belmar, NJ) 2/15
We had good life on the bottom for the most part today..The bergalls were chewing so it kept you in the game..Had short blackfish in the mix to plus the boys up front on point had 3 keeper togs each….Plus we had a nice codfish on the jig which had a follower all the way up to the boat and another nice codfish on a green crab..So i was happy with the life,,not everyone caught in the small batch of guys we had onboard but for February and after a snow storm it was good enough for me….Still a great chance for a jumbo blackfish and win the seasonal pool!
No fishing Friday due to gale warning up…
