Sabine Lake
GOOD. 55 degrees. Jetty fishing is producing good drum and sheepshead with some redfish near the rocks using dead shrimp. In the channel trout fishing is good over shell off points and drops live shrimp under popping corks, and morning glory chartreuse Z-Man paddle tails. The south end of the lake is holding trout on the reefs using a �¾ ounce jig heads with red shad in 4-15 feet of water. Bank fishermen along the North Levee Road bringing in trout to 5 pounds on the first and second pipes using live shrimp under popping corks and artificials. North Sabine lake holding trout in 2-4 feet of water. Drift Sydney Island to East Pass with live shrimp under a popping cork. Neches River has slot redfish and slot flounder in 8-14 feet of water off points and drops on the flats. Key on mullet and you’ll find the fish. Bolivar
GOOD. 51 degrees. Hanna’s Reef Catching a few trout on soft-dine, fat boy and other twitchers. Jetties are holding redfish and black drum on the channel side. Whichever jetty allows the calm is producing speckled trout on popping corks with live shrimp. With another cold front coming look for fish to switch from 5-7 feet of water to 7-9 feet of water. Trinity Bay
GOOD. 61 degrees. Burnett Bay, San Jacinto Bay and Sylvan Beach are good for sheepshead, a few oversized drum, keeper black drum, and fair catches of speckled trout. Best bite is on live shrimp fished underneath popping corks. Report by Captain David Dillman, Galveston Bay Charter Fishing.
Galveston Bay

Texas City
GOOD. 61 degrees. Big black drum are good at night on cut bait. Dollar Bay has redfish and black drum by the grass on dead shrimp. Wade Fishing near the flood gate. Dollar Reef holding some speckled trout on soft plastic and suspended twitch bait. Look for fish in that 5-7 feet of water coming off the reefs. FreeportFAIR. 57 degrees. Fishing is slower despite an abundance of bait fish and the water is slightly off color. Trout are good drifting the bay with down south lures with 1/4 ounce jig head in 3-4 feet of water. Alligator Cut holding sheepshead and drum. Flounder are there but all smaller sized. East Matagorda Bay
GOOD. 62 degrees. The cold fronts rolling through leave one or two days of decent weather for fishing. Trout are slow in the bay. Shoreline anglers are reeling in a few nice sized trout. Redfish are good on cut mullet and live shrimp. The water in the Colorado River and Diversion Canal are clearing up.
