The sun shined for us again today on Greenport NYs Peconic Star 4. Go figure the weatherman being wrong. The porgy fishing started of red hot with jumbos up to 3 pounds going into buckets, along with some quality seabass up to 3 pounds. There was a short lull in the action around mid day due to some hard running current. By days end the current backed off and the Jumbo porgies went on the feed again. We are absolutely sailing tomorrow Tuesday Sept 12.
The full-day trip on Saturday Sept 16 is completely sold out . We do however have plenty of room on Sundays trip.
