LOS ANGELES – Children ages 10-15 are invited to participate in a free youth fishing club at Legg Lake in the Whittier Narrows Recreation Area, a County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation facility located at 751 South Santa Anita Ave. South El Monte, CA 91733.
Club meetings will held on the 3rd Saturday of every month at the club house at Legg Lake. The next club meeting will be August 20, 2022. There is no cost to participate. Youth must be between 10-15 years old. This activity is designed to give boys and girls who live in urban areas an opportunity to enjoy a fishing experience in or close to their own neighborhood.
