The Charter Boat ‘GulfStar’ is located at Viking Landing 607 Island Dr, Tarpon Springs, Fl. We specialize in catching deep water Grouper and Snapper on 3 and 4 day long range Pulley Ridge and beyond multi day deep drop fishing trips.
When we are not hunting the deep water of the Gulf we are fishing the “Florida Middle Grounds” and Elbow on two day trips. The Middle grounds and the elbow produce a huge variety of grouper, snapper and tons of other reef fish as well as pelagic fish such as black-fin tuna, king mackerel and Wahoo.
The GulfStar is a custom built Fishing Boat complete with an air conditioned cabin, full galley kitchen,The sleeping quarters are air conditioned and have a large clean shower. Each berth is 32″ wide and 6′ 6″ long with soft comfortable cushions..
We are US Coast Guard Certified and Inspected for up to 44 passengers but “Limit” our trips to 15 passengers on the two day trips and as low as 8 passengers for the longer specialty trips.
She is a U.S Coast Guard inspected offshore fishing vessel, rigged for and capable of fishing up to 200 miles offshore for any fish that swims in the Gulf of Mexico. She is 65′ in length and 19 ft wide with a huge 20′ x 19′ fishing cockpit, equipped with two 200 gallon livewells and fish storage for up to 4000 lbs. She is powered by twin 770 hp modern diesel engines and has the fuel capacity to fish any offshore canyon or remote fishing area.
