About
Carolina Princess
MEET THE CAPTAIN
Captain Terrell Gould
Capt. Terrell Gould is a third-generation fisherman. In 1937, his grandfather, Capt. Dave, was one of the first captains to operate sport-fishing charters from the Morehead City waterfront, on his boat, the Harriet L. Capt. Dave was joined by his son, Leroy, in 1946. Capt. Leroy operated his boat, The Mattie G., until his retirement in 1998.
Â
Capt. Terrell built his boat, the Harriet L., in 1975 and operated Gould's Charter Boatsâ„¢ until his good friend Capt. "Woo Woo" Harker offered to sell him the Carolina Princess in 2006.
Â
During his fishing career, Capt. Gould has attained a vast knowledge of the waters and bottom structures off the Crystal Coast of Morehead City, and he is committed to providing the same quality of fishing expertise and guidance that has been the benchmark of the Carolina Princess's success, dating from the 1960's to the present. His goal is to make sure that each and every angler who comes aboard the Princess leaves with an enjoyable memory that will last a lifetime.
