6/5 : Very Good Sea Bass Action Today!
Fishing was very good today with limits all around the boat.
The fish were good size, and everyone went up with a nice catch. It started out slow in the morning, but improved as the day went on and by the end of the day doubleheaders were the norm.

After a slow start this morning on couple of drops we sure made up for it in second half.
Jigs were really working well and most people ended up with limits of seabass and few ling.
Next 2 open boat seabass trips are Friday and Sunday. Tomorrow we have our first ling marathon departing at 6:30

Another beautiful day,,flat calm.
And we drifted most of the day again it was so nice
…Decent life again,,as we drifted we saw Nice sea bass,,lots of ling amd alot of whiting again…Nice day out,hopefully the pictures come up here.Having a problem with the website….Any way tomorrow looks fine,,we are fishing!

It was very nice offshore today and we had decent life to start.Saw bites all around the boat,perch and short blackfish coming up steady…A few keepers to but for the second half of the day the 3 other drops were pretty dead..Good day out with aome great guys even though we didnt do well with keepers..Tomorrow looks good to and we are fishing so lets go!

Deep Sea Charter Fishing
The Crew
The Celtic Stoirm is family owned and operated. Captain Mike Bouchard and Captain Gary Bouchard have over 50 years combined experience fishing in the surrounding waters of New Jersey ‘s waters and New York. They began fishing the Raritan Bay with their father, Captain Gary L. Bouchard aboard the well known and respected Misty Morn out of Morgan. Both have captained and mated on the Misty Morn for many years before branching out to deliver a more personalized fishing experience aboard the Celtic Stoirm.
Captain Mike has also spent many years on the crews of The Sea Pigeon, The Norseman and various other Party Boats along the New Jersey coast.
Boat Description
The Celtic Stoirm, a 38 foot Henriques Flybridge, is docked at the Belmar Manutti Marina, in Belmar, NJ. Powered by twin Turbo charged Caterpillar engines, the Celtic Stoirm cruises at 20 knots and has a top speed of 25 knots. The flybridge seats 6, so feel free to join Captain Mike or Captain Gary for the ride out to the fishing grounds.
The Celtic Stoirm is loaded with state of the art electronics to find our target species. Once on the fish, our massive 140 sq ft cockpit provides a rock solid fishing platform, giving your party the room and safety to enjoy the day. The cockpit is equipped with freshwater and saltwater wash down pumps, two 102 gallon fishboxes to hold the day’s catch and a new fighting chair for big game. For evening charters, the cockpit is fully illuminated by overhead halogen lamps.
The Celtic Stoirm is prepared for any situation with all required USCG approved safety equipment including full color Northstar GPS, depth/fish finder, EPIRB, satellite phone, enough pfd’s for all onboard and a brand new 8 person life raft.
For your comfort and convenience enroute to and from the fishing grounds, the Celtic Stoirm’s salon is your home on the water. Amenites include Heating and Air Conditioning, stand-up Head with shower, and v-berth for catching some zzzzz’s on our longer charters. For your meals, the galley is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, and stove
