Slow pick of Ling today with tough conditions in the deep. Ended up with anywhere from 2 to a dozen per person. We didn’t see any Cod today, but the various trash was ferocious at times. We will not be sailing during the week due to poor weather. Next weekend’s long range weather…Read More -

OFFSHORE COD/WRECK REPORT:
Improved fishing today out on the deep side of the hole. A handful of quality Keeper Codfish, and a hefty pile of Large & XL Red Hake made it over the rails. We will not be sailing this Tuesday as previously mentioned. We had a minor mechanical issue that we need to get squared away. Our next trip is now scheduled for…Read More -

Who would have thought we have already been blackfishing for a month!!!
Water temps are still in the upper 50s and the fish are still on the move . Fishing should only get better and better
Hard to think it will get better and better when we are seeing triple digit keeper catches as well as full boat limits
Don’t get left at the dock and c…Read More -

The Yankee Clipper and Yankee Star have been producing good trips. Anglers have been seeing a good haddock bite and some people are getting close to their limit on marathons. Pollock and Cod are coming up too.
-
The jig trips are a go and the fishing is really turning on. The Saturday 10 hour trip was a little hot and cold but we found some pollock and white hake. The Sunday 12 hour was very successful, everyone slammed them. A little slow for the first hourish then a lot of big pollock with many double headers. Plenty of haddock and redfish in the mix.…Read More

Fishing Day 2 with Jeremy, Greg, and Steve…6/22/2024
The dogs woke me up 45 minutes before my alarm was to go off, so I just got up, and stayed up. A cup of coffee, out on the back deck, hit the spot. While the dogs were busy with their morning routine of sniffing the yard for any critters that may have traveled…Read More -

After several reschedules due to wind, we were finally able to make it happen! 3 generations of Dehart family in the boat with me today! They had a few lingering storms, but the breeze kept us comfortable, with some overcast, while we were out. Mr. Harris, Harris, and Bo went to work and put a nice box of fish together. Matrix shad double rigged,…Read More

Conditions were tough for Seabass this morning, so we did a few drifts for fluke and found a good amount of life with shorts & keepers. Bring your Seabass jigs, Gulp & fluke jigs. Seabass were spitting up tons of sandeels again this morning.
Had a light crowd for the 4pm trip today. Had some decent fluke life. Pics of a few keepers that…Read More

6/5 : Very Good Sea Bass Action Today!
Fishing was very good today with limits all around the boat.
The fish were good size, and everyone went up with a nice catch. It started out slow in the morning, but improved as the day went on and by the end of the day doubleheaders were the norm.

Time to get caught up on some info and back to posting everyday. The bite remains strong and we are still seeing rather large haddock – 10.5 lb in the photo.
The bite has been exceptional on marathon trips and we are having some very productive stops for experienced anglers on full day trips.
Wolffish was returned to the sea alive and well. -

Slower weekend on the full day grounds. Sunday was better than Saturday. Good showing of 18” fish to swim another day
Sunday did see some over fishing the 5+ pound range
Eyeball jigs and gulp were the ticket to the keepers with the slow drift. Very very soft bite.
Sailing tomorrow morning at 7am
