Sun. 2/23, Cod Report:
Tough sledding today, in sloppier than expected conditions. We managed a handful of keeper, and short Cod, along with a bunch of nice Blackfish that woke up and decided to bite. All Blackfish were released. We anticipate a good showing out in the deep, once the season opens up…Read More -

OFFSHORE COD/WRECK REPORT:
Improved fishing today out on the deep side of the hole. A handful of quality Keeper Codfish, and a hefty pile of Large & XL Red Hake made it over the rails. We will not be sailing this Tuesday as previously mentioned. We had a minor mechanical issue that we need to get squared away. Our next trip is now scheduled for…Read More -

Capt JR reports a pretty good day on the Viking Starlite. The Sea Bass fishing was once again as good as it gets with everyone easily getting their limit of big beautiful knot heads. However, the Fluke bite was definitely way off. Maybe they need some time to recover after the giant ground swell the last few days, or maybe they just didn’t want t…Read More

The Fluke bite was off from yesterday with only a few keepers boated but Ling catches remain good each day. We’ve been drifting the reefs and rock piles with clams, squid and spearing in hopes of catching everything possible. Some Seabass mixed in but they haven’t been a problem the past few days, the water must’ve gotten a little colder on the b…Read More

Conditions were tough for Seabass this morning, so we did a few drifts for fluke and found a good amount of life with shorts & keepers. Bring your Seabass jigs, Gulp & fluke jigs. Seabass were spitting up tons of sandeels again this morning.
Had a light crowd for the 4pm trip today. Had some decent fluke life. Pics of a few keepers that…Read More

6/12/24. Nice day on the Seabass grounds today. Much improved life from yesterday. Started off with a few good shots at keepers on the jigs and the bait that fizzled out we bounced around picking a few everywhere we went. Had a little mid day lul with lots of shorts. Found a hungry patch to end the day with loads of bites on the jigs and bait rigs…Read More
