Tue Oct 7 – Block Island Fall Jumbo Porgies and Seabass
Capt Dave reports slight improvement on the Viking Starship. The full moon tide was still running hard, but we definitely had better fishing. We had nice sized Porgies and there were Sea Bass up to 4 lbs. We also had some Bluefish and Mackerel. The first place pool winner was Chiqui Hilario from Philadelphia, PA with a 3 lb Porgy. The edible pool winner was Kenny Morales from St. Albans, Queens with a 4 lb Sea Bass. The trip is cancelled for tomorrow, Oct 8, due to weather.
