Fishing was slow yesterday.

6/5 : Very Good Sea Bass Action Today!
Fishing was very good today with limits all around the boat.
The fish were good size, and everyone went up with a nice catch. It started out slow in the morning, but improved as the day went on and by the end of the day doubleheaders were the norm.

We had a pick at Seabass on yesterday’s 4pm trip with a light crowd. Short life with some ling in the mix.

After a slow start this morning on couple of drops we sure made up for it in second half.
Jigs were really working well and most people ended up with limits of seabass and few ling.
Next 2 open boat seabass trips are Friday and Sunday. Tomorrow we have our first ling marathon departing at 6:30

The fluke are providing plenty of recreation for the Den customers.Steve Tomas had a 4 lb 10 oz fish out of Shark River. This has been a very good season for Fluke inshore and offshore,The Blue fish have been showing in good numbers in the inlet.Get in on the action before school starts.

Aug. 17 – It was GOOD ACTION throughout the day! We started out offshore on the hills with plenty of readings. We picked on all drifts and had some that were good with decent shots of the 2 to 4 lb. BLUES. There were also BONITO in the mix today – a couple to a few a drift at times. There were plenty of BLUEFISH limits on board.
