In 1944, on the shore 35 miles north of Boston a young Captain named Jerry Hill began taking visitors for an afternoon sail…Now Yankee Fleet is owned and run by Thomas Orrell, he enjoys “Keeping the Tradition Going.”  Tom started working with Yankee Fleet in the late seventies and has now managed and operated Yankee Fleet since 1991.  Tom enjoys taking our new and old patrons fishing, creating new and lasting memories for all ages!

For over 60 years Yankee Fleet has been running fishing excursions to Stellwagen Bank, Jeffreys Ledge, and Tillies Bank where you will have the best opportunity to catch fish and have fun doing it.
Our fleet vessels have been specially designed to provide the best platform for fishing.  As the originators of Gloucester based deep-sea party boat fishing, our Captains have the most knowledge of the best fishing spots in the gulf of Maine.  We can say this simply because we have the most experience.

THE YANKEE CLIPPER

The Yankee Clipper is a versatile 75-foot vessel that accommodates up to 113 people providing great service for fishing and sightseeing cruises for groups. For a fishing trip the max. is 55 passengers.  This fast boat will get your group to the best deep sea fishing spots without delay. The galley and indoor cabin offers many options for service and comfort.
