New Jersey Students Lend A Hand To Make Reef Balls

Students Assist with Making Reef Balls

Last week, Lazar Middle School students in Montville, [New Jersey], worked with Marine Resources Administration staff to make one dozen reef balls as part of a grant received in 2019.

Students had the opportunity to get involved in the process of building these concrete fish habitats from start to finish. The reef balls are scheduled to be deployed on the Manasquan Inlet Reef on June 7, 2022.
