Wisconsin Free Kids Fishing Clinic April 15

Do you know kids who want to learn how to fish or get some fishing tips? Bring them to one of our kids’ free fishing clinics on April 15 in southeastern Wisconsin.

Together with local fishing clubs, the DNR will be hosting several spring fishing clinics in Milwaukee and Washington counties for children 15 and under. Connect with seasoned anglers and learn:

  • How to safely use fishing equipment
  • How to identify fish species and learn the regulations
  • Fishing techniques, casting and knot tying
  • Fish cleaning and cooking demos (at some locations)

A full list of clinic locations can be found on the DNR’s Angler Education webpage.

Loaner gear is available but please bring your own if possible. All sites are wheelchair accessible and young children must be accompanied by an adult.

These clinics will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. We’ll see you there!
